Operators Operating Operationally.

This is a military blog that features pictures and videos of weapons, vehicles, and the individuals who use them on a daily basis.
I find a portion of these pictures from military_armies. Thanks to him for letting me use so many of his great photos.
Enjoy.

HK Prototypes
At this year’s fall SHOTSHOW, HK has revealed its new signature line of assault rifles. They claim to be chambered in .303 British. While many speculate that the drastic change in ammunition type will be this lines downfall, many HK fanboys believe that their corporate overlords have done many tests to prove that the .303 is quite obviously the superior round for anti-insurgency fighting.
HK Representative Allen Vench had this to say on the matter:
".303 British Has been used for over 70 years to quell local rebellions, and has been used for anti-insurgency fighting. Ever since we switched to the 5.56 platform, we had always felt that something was missing. Well, with extensive field research with grizzled (and often antiquated) combat veterans, we had learned just what we were missing. Now, we plan to incorporate this signature design detail of the venerable Enfield rifles in our new H&K G917s. We think that in spite of literally zero field testing, our low price of 5,000,000,000 per unit will appeal to literally no one but the United States military. Also, we will not be making a civilian model."
